employers in the UAE?
Employers in the UAE can be categorized into 4 types:
Large Local / Regional Companies
Large to Mid sized Multinational Companies
Small and Medium Sized Businesses (SMBs)
Trading Establishments
Large Companies - Local / Regional and Multinational both, have dedicated HR
departments due to which they tend to advertise their job vacancies largely
through appointment columns in newspapers and on their own web sites.
Some large companies, however, may choose to hire recruitment agencies for
filtering, short listing and conducting preliminary interviews for them.
SMBs may approach recruitment agencies or advertise job vacancies in local
newspapers. Trading establishments usually recruit through a network of
personal references to get suitable candidates without having to spend on
the process of recruitment.
